Disciple is such an awesome band. Every line of their lyrics, they have a Bible verse to coordinate with it. So often Christian rock bands can fall into the whole rock scene, the fame, the baggage that comes with being rock stars. I just love to see Christian rock groups who are just so on fire for God.....and still SCREAM and freakin' ROCK OUT for Jesus. heh..
Last year at Night of Joy, when Skillet played "Imperfection", right before hand John Cooper the lead, said "I love it in Jeremiah....its says that we are FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made."
It was so incredible, I almost cried. I just loved the fact that he made sure that we knew that they still played their music for the glory of God.
If you think that Christians are all with our hands folded, repeating prayers, goody-goody church goers....please, come to a Christian rock show, or even Rock the Universe. Christians are SO COOL! And yes, we start mosh pits, and YES we stage dive..but when it gets too intense we sort of back off, and ask if everybody is alright, then jump right back in. haha
We are not your average church folk. We CAN rock, by the way. AND we can rave. (Right, Monster??!) but its all for the King, so don't get that confused.
OH MY GOSH, 1 MORE DAY TILL ROCK THE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SERIOUSLY GOING TO BARF.... HA!

I am so excited about seeing Chris Tomlin. He is so gorgeous, he has a beautiful voice, and he has written a ton of popular worship songs that are simply amazing. Like "Enough" for example, which I never knew.
