What Is Love?
Someone asked me yesterday what love was.
This was my answer...
What is love?
Well.... it's when you can hardly breathe when you are close to someone so special to you
It's when your heart beats a little bit faster at something as small as the touch of their hand
It's when you go to sleep at night with that person being the last thing on your mind and the first thing in the morning
It's when you smile at them or see them smile, and it's just as big and special as the very first smile
It's when you make eye contact and can't even find words to speak
It's when you have a total inner comfort and feel of complete safety when you are being held in their arms
It's a 15 minute goodbye because you can't bear to have to say goodbye and watch them leave or walk away
It's when you're exhausted and you're lying next to them for a nap and you can't sleep... for some reason all you can do is just stare and be in awe at what is right in front of you and what you have
It's not being afraid to wipe away their tears or even their snot for that much lol
It's the longing you feel every second you are apart.... just longing to see them once again
It's forgetting all about what matters to you and what you'd like to do, or just being easily willing to sacrifice something, just for the opportunity to see them happy
My heart might be a little broken up, but it hasn't forgotten.
