I have been inspired to post... and I will post about Hollister.
I was just reading a survey on myspace (I know, myspace sucks, nobody on lj likes myspace) and it was one of those this/that surveys. One of the questions was Abercrombie/Hollister, and I can't say that if I were filling out that survey I would be able to answer. I've always been slightly adverse to abercrombie just because its so... you know... god damn trendy. And expensive for no reason. And the music always hurt my head a little. I'd never really had a problem with Hollister just because I'd never been in the store. And so in my quest for leggings to wear under my skirt in the wintertime, I ventured into Hollister. It was dark, and down some stairs so it was kindof in a big hole. And the music was blaring. I was greeted, of course, by a young perky blonde girl who told me to enjoy my shopping experience in not so many words, but no sooner had I walked ten feet into the store did I start to feel sick. And not just sick like oh all this clothing is so ugly I'm sick, like physically ill. I literally wanted to throw up. So even though I had just walked by the perky blonde girl like two seconds before, I did a complete 180 and walked past her again but this time a little faster. I had never known a store to actually make me physically ill before. I didnt think it was possible. I know the music in abercrombie puts my brother in a bad mood, but i didnt think that a store could make someone sick.
And now I don't like hollister. So I suppose when faced with the question, abercrombie/hollister, I would have to say neither.
The End.
