I have stumbled upon an interesting concept. I thought of it one day when I was bored.
Has it ever occured to anyone that while everyone knows the names of the colors, they might not look the same for everybody. Like when I look at yellow, maybe I see the same color as when you look at blue.
Maybe if I could plug someone's head into my tv, all the pictures would be different than how I see them because all of the colors are different. But then again, how would we know?
It's impossible to describe colors. Just try to explain what red looks like to a blind person. You can't. Red is red and thats all there is to it.
But maybe my red doesnt look the same as your red. Because we're all different people. So I guess we'll never know if people see the same colors or not because when we were little, someone picked up a marker and said "this is a purple marker"
So preschool sort of homogenizes everything and now we can never know if things are all the same or if theyre all different because weve been programed to look at the sky and say "blue" and at the grass and say "green"
I explained that to the nine year olds that I was babysitting on saturday and one of them got it right away. 9 year olds are way smarter than we give them credit for.
School ruins people more than it improves them.
