sembreak
it's been a while since i last posted an entry here. spare mo from laziness!! whahaha
for the past 2 weeks, i've been doing nothing but bumming around my crib, YM-ing and spending money on gimmicks. my S1 blockmates (elsa, chuckie, rj, debs, monty, pat, ansel and i) went to tagaytay last wed for an overnight trip at our resthouse there, and it was one of my memorable college moments! (nax!) but seriously, ang saya-saya!:)
argh.. due to my laziness, i haven't started working on one of my agendas for the sembreak: to fix and arrange my brother's cd and vcd collection. better start working on it tomorrow since i have nothing to do here in the house.
so far, the movies i've seen this sem break are:
l`appartement (just saw this awhile ago)
fly me to polaris (for the 3rd time!)
first daughter (last monday)
into the mirror (a korean horror thriller)

white chicks (damn hilarious!!)
... and i think that's it! wow... kunti pa lang pala...
last monday, after we got our regforms and disappointing grades (magsisipag na talaga ako sa next sem!), i went out with my english blockmates (charles, dotty, queen, sonny and en-en) to eastwood to have lunch and watch a movie. since napanud na ni charles cellular, and dotty and i have seen white chicks on dvd, and i was the only one among us who has seen shark tale, we decided to go for first daughter.
the poster gives you a hint of what kind of movie this is. natatawa nga ako sa poster- parang model ng anne klein si katie holmes! whahahah :o parang kulang sa promotions tong movie. i've never seen the trailer of this movie before i saw it... pero anyhoo, about the movie; it was SO CHASING LIBERTY! halata naman sa story pa lang, pero the way the story was patterned, it was also the same as chasing liberty. there are 2 things that are different between the 2 movies; first daughter is more of a candy-pop version of chasing liberty, and i really think katie holmes doesn't suit the role of being a first daughter.
candy pop version- meaning sobrang chick flick nitong movie! yung opening credits puro butterflies in the garden, then there's the narrator saying "once upon a time, there was a little girl who blah blah blah.." sobrang girly fairy tale movie! well, buti ndi masiyadong boring yung movie, but bitin pa ending! grrrr..
like what my english blockmate en-en said, parang hindi kami sanay makita si katie holmes magmukhang formal on screen `cause she's used to having girl-next-door roles like her character, joey, in dawson's creek. nakakapanibago lang siguro? pero hindi talaga bagay sa kanya! mas ok si mandy moore as the first daughter (no biases intended here)
