today, i got served...
what a day.. just had four hours of sleep! i wasnt able to sleep early last night.. maybe because of the afternoon shut-eye rest i had..
anyhoo, today i managed to wake up at 8 am to go to je's house for our ES concept paper (today was our first time we worked on the paper as a group. hooray!) but my mom insisted that we go to quiapo first cause she needed to buy some nachos for our mooncake tonight.(they have nachos wholesaling there at a low price!) while she bought some nachos with dips, well, alam niyo naman ang tanging pakay ko pag nasa quiapo ako!
hehehe i bought around 22 dvds such as windstruck (ria meron na ko!!!:) van helsing, envy, jersey girl, dumb and dumber,mean girls,the alamo, day after tomorrow, now that i have you, fahrenheit 9/11, bend it like beckham, lee rock (another korean movie), god of gamblers III, all about ah long (a chinese drama), heat of the team (an aaron kwok action starrer), people i know, the unrated version of boattrip.. i think that's it!
argh i got served by those friggin lying dvd merchants!my mom and i were in a rush when we were in quaipo (well, what's new anyway? lagi naman kaming in a rush). it was around 9 am when we arrived in quaipo and my groupmates agreed on 9 am as our meeting time! whahahaha due to impulsive rushing, we weren't able to test all the dvd's we bought if they were original dvd copies already or not.we just relied on the merchants' words... bwisit..
i can't seem to get an original DVD copy of the prince & me. i've already bought 2 dvd's of this movie (one last july, the other awhile ago) thinking that they were both original DVD copies already, but they were still not. grrrr
i also got fooled by the Saved! DVD. i thought it was an original copy already but hindi pa pala..
lesson for the day: make sure that every DVD to be purchased in quiapo should be tested before leaving the store!
