So my adventures in public transportation are once again rekindled!
I am a raging train-riding fan. I just love riding the train. And for the next 3 months I'll get to do that every Saturday! W00t! Next Saturday I'm doing a tester to see where to get off, walk to, catch bus, etc. *_* I get to take the bus right in front of the Sears Tower! XD I GET TO WALK BY THE SEARS TOWER FOR THE NEXT 3 MONTHS!! YATTA!! Ahhh.. n_n sounds soooo good. I love downtown Chicago, too. Oh man, it's going to be so neat! Then I can come home to my house, and then go back on Sunday night or something.
I wont come home every week-end, unfortunately. Probably every 2-3 weeks because I'm not sure about how the homework load is going to go. Especially if they don't hook up the Mac to the internet at the campus. I don't want to drag the PC around - it's too big, and it is now very slow. I am thinking I'll have to get a laptop or something. That's horrible! T_T That'd be my third computer - but I hope things don't get INSANE without a floppy drive - because while Carnegie Hall and the Libary are nice, and even if it is Naperville (safety capital of Illinois), I still don't like walking back at night alone. Y'all know how scared I get XD
Anyway, the reason I'm going to be downtown every Saturday is because I'm volunteering for James @ Landmark Education. *_* The thought excites me because it gets me back in life. Haha. 0: and it's downtown. And people are sooo nice. train ride. R j00 kiddin' meh? It's perfect!
