Sometimes I wonder what excess of love can do to a person. Love for your partner can make you numb to all the horrible things they are doing to you. But it feels so right. In history Love has made people kill other human beings. Love has made people take their own lives. But indeed, in those cases it goes beyond love into obsession... or does it?

Love can be defined by some as a glorified obsession. I love chocolate, but I wouldn't kill for it. I would kill for Eddie. I mean, if he wanted someone dead, I would laugh it off... but if his survival was endangered by another being, I would take their last breath with my bear hands.

Love, Loyalty, Honesty and Trust all go hand in hand. They are like the links to a chain, the chain being the realtionship between two people. If one link is weak then the chain is weak. If they all hold strong, then the chain is rightous and favorable.

How do you know when you've met the one? How do you know when you're in love? I have no idea. Happiness is key in everything that is practiced in life. I suppose being in love is that butterfly feeling in your tummy everytime you see that person, even after 20 years. Or maybe you have a violent gastric reaction to their perfume? Maybe love is when that person is your best friend, your lover, your partner in life, your equal, your teacher, your student, someone to cry on, someone who will listen, someone to listen to, someone who looks out for the best interest and happiness of the both of you, someone who won't laugh at your jokes if they're not funny, someone who cares if you fail and congratulates you when you succeed, someone who you will not be afraid to pick up off the ground when they fall and who will appreciate your graditude when they make it ,someone who you are completely enthralled with and thinks you're a goddess, someone who gives you credit and doesn't laugh at your dreams and goals, someone who will yell at you and shake you when you begin to think your goals are not attainable, someone who doesn't want to see you cry, but you do anyway... if that's love, Then i'm madly in love.
