Top ten list of words/phrases I hate (and some of the reasons I hate them):
.not really (is it YES or NO?!)
.actually (you KNOW someone is about to correct you, in a particularly obnoxious way)
.relax (i just hate this word. probably because of the "lax". oh, are we laxing again? i guess you could say i'm trying to re-lax. o_O)
.enjoy (this one too. are you in joy? how does that work, anyway?)
.especially (i really hate when the priest uses this in church, when he's asking for a special blessing over the dead, "especially those listed in our bulletin". why, are they more deserving of blessings than other dead people? pet peeve, i guess)
.dookie (UGH!)
.same difference (i kill you! what the hell does it MEAN, anyway?!)
.we'll see (of course we will! that much is obvious! tell me what i want to know NOW! just ANSWER ME!)
.you have no idea (don't i? what makes you so sure?)
.i know exactly how you feel (that's impossible. while i appreciate sympathy, every person feels differently about certain things. in no way can anyone know *exactly* how someone else feels.)
Anyone else have a top ten? Feel free to share.
