Oh-goodness.Prom is around the corner, well actually...it's here. This saturday is freaaakin' prom! wow. Let's hope to dear God I don't mess it up. I always said last year how cool it would be to go to prom since sometimes I can't stand being with the sophomores in my year(take my english class for instance). I didn't think it would happen. well it's not really new gossip or anytihng just me talking to julie/amanda and we're all trying out for the Drill team division 1 this year (drum core) because everythings so fucked up with webber(sorry I know you like her) but she's changed so damn much. Did you know she's getting rid of the '3 point system'? that means she takes matters into her own hands which is EXtremly unfair( more for me since I get blamed for everything on that squad) which means she can give one person a strike the other nothing.it's so screwed up...now we hav erik garcia trying out for flags which is pathetic. But the thing that bothers me is he ALREADY has "FLAGS" on his class ring..you don't put that on your class ring unless you KNOW you're on the squad (which probably means hes either really cocky or webber told him hes gonna make it) also he got 4 or 5 hours of practice with a flag and was taught all of our tosses before he tries out, and thats bullshit because when heide and I and kris lars tried out we had NO experience. Oh yeah, and during webbers speach about doing band and flags she said "dont worry we have girls in band AND on flags like..Julie roy up there...and Kristen whose been in band two years..." as I was sitting 2nd row starring at her. Flags has seriously gone to hell and I want to try out because I still <3 doing flags its just i'm not sure how long I will last. That's basically it...wow, that only took 5 hours to write.

Wait? Some guy is trying out for flags? No offence, but is he gay or something?? I understand the whole Mrs. Webber changing thing... but to be honest, I'm not so sure that she changed, or if she just feels like she has a lot on her plate. Having never been in her position, it's hard to say why she has acted the way she has over the last year, and sometimes you've just gotta say to yourself, "OK, stuff is different, but I'll have fun anyways." and not let crap get you down. I know you of all people know how to have a good time!! As for the points system, yeah, I'd be worried if I were you, I wouldn't worry about anybody else though, just you =). And the band thing, could be a slip of the mind, I heard quite a few girls were at the meeting, maybe she was surprised/shocked to see that many people interested and you just slipped her mind.
Talk to you soon and I miss you too... and yes, I am a firm believer that things would be better if i were there... but then again, I think all things are better now that I'm here! =)

well thats a nice way of putting it. but amanda julie and I and others can't take anymore of the crap.I'm past the point of wanting to have fun on flags(just bcause I can't or else I get in trouble) but yeah I was talking with amanda and we wish you and ally and liz were still here.

but above all...jenny hydo.
