(no subject)
I had two doctors appointments today.
One with my nephrologist at 1:30, and one with Dr. Levin at 6:10.
My nephrologists office is literally down the hall from Dr. Levin's, but of course, he was booked up for this afternoon.
Waa waa waa.
The appointment with the nephrologist went well. All my tests came back negative.
No lupus, no hepatitis, no kidney diseases of any kind. And the protein in my urine was a normal amount too.
Hooray!
I go back to see him September 3rd to re-run the tests to make sure I'm still all clear.
After that appointment Josh and I went out to lunch at The Great Baraboo, and had really delicious food.
Then he dropped me off at Jessica's because she was gonna take me to see Dr. Levin since he had to work at 5.
Dr. Levin checked my cervix again, and I'm still only dilated 1cm, which is good.
I'm still on strict bed rest, but he's given me permission to go to my baby showers so long as I just sit in a comfy chair the whole time and only open small presents that can fit in my lap.
Hoooorraaaaaayyyyyyy!!!!!
I'm very very very happy about that.
Josh's family is AMAZING and came over yesterday to help us with stuff around the house.
Josh and his dad went to Home Depot to get screens for the windows, and to Farmington Hills to pick up a portable dishwasher that I found on Craigslist.
His mom and his sister stayed here and finished cleaning out the baby's room.
They vacuumed, and took stuff down off the walls and ceiling. They are amazing.
They're coming back out this Saturday to paint.
It's definitely a load off knowing that that stuff will be done, so if this silly baby does decide to make an early appearance, at least his room will be ready for him.
I just love them.
Ok. Time to go lay down on the couch, since I've been running all over town today.
