Finally an Answer!!!
Ok so for those who were wondering what is wrong with me
I went to the pulminary specialist yesterday and have been diagnosed with Asthma and GERD. They say one complicates the other and that is why I have been so sick for so long. I knew about the GERD (gastroesophigeal reflux disease) I have had problems with that for a while but now I am supposed to actually deal with it by changing my diet.
I still have a few more tests and am starting to feel better but am not yet quite healed. But it never was whooping cough. At least I have answers and effective treatment. I am currently on 2 inhalers, nebulizer treatments every 4 hours, nexium, and a special diet. I am supposed to keep track of every thing I eat and how well my lungs work with a meter so that when I go back to the specialist in a month we can have a plan of attack on how to do things.
I never thought I'd be so happy to hear I have a chronic illness but at least I can fight now that I know the enemy.
