Bought fish today. Two.

Got them all acclimated and set into the tank.

Four hours go by.

We have nineteen fish.

Let's see what the tally is in another four hours.

That was kind of the reaction my wife had...I told her it looked pregnant when we got it home.

What kind of fishies? Do you need to segregate them to prevent cannibalism?

they're molly fishes. and the fish expert at petsmart said that if they had enough plants to hide in, they should be ok until we can get them a nursery. little bastards.

we have quite a few plants in there and they are all hiding in the fuzzy parts. except for the four or five that are just lollygagging about in the open and they're so stupid they deserve to succumb to darwin's theory. >.<

i put a glass in there on its side and situated it so that big jaws and his friend (her friend?) can't get to the inside, but the little ones can.

i can't believe we got a knocked up fish.
