(no subject)
I went to the zoo yesterday! It was so much fun! Believe it or not, I actually have not been to a real zoo since I was about 7 or so. Nathan and I saw the seals at the Central Park Zoo...oh, three years ago? Dan and I went to the insect zoo at the Smithsonian this summer...I rode the train outside the Topeka Park Zoo about 7 years ago...and when I was 12 my mom took me to rehearsal at Starlight...and took the kid's across the parking lot to the Kansas City Zoo. Yup.
So yesterday was a major treat.
Wow. We may have had a horrible fight last week...but since then our relationship has been the best it's been...since New York. I think I really needed that fight. It is really sucky I had to hurt him in the process...of course none of this was intentional. But my subconscious apparently knew what I needed...and it worked.
Anyway, I got attacked by a pelican. I am NOT afraid of birds! He just startled me, dammit!
