I think that it might be in our best interest, at least for now, to come to terms with our being stranded here in Promenade. I perused the portal and noticed that while there have already been several attempts to return to our own worlds, there has been little to no real progress made.

I don't doubt that, Miss. I don't think many want to admit defeat, .. not until every imaginable avenue is explored, anyway. [ He is shaking his head. ] But they may waste as much time as they like. I don't plan on trying to coerce them into following my idea, beyond this entry, of course.

They're welcome to skitter around the game board as much as they wish. If they want to play along with the player's plan, then by all means... let them.

Mm. I haven't the time to spend tending to the pawns of this, particular, game, when there are plenty other, more important, pieces to worry about.

[ Chuckles. ]

More important? Do tell me who you've sought out.

I must find my Master, for one. But as for promenade's residents, the King, the Queen, and the Exile are all people that I wouldn't mind knowing more about.

I seek an audience with the king and queen, personally.

I have already taken care to send them a greeting card.

I am sure that it is no easy task to procure an invite to meet the two heads of promenade, but I wish you the best of luck.

If the probability isn't zero, I'm sure I can make such a meeting happen.

But thank you for the good luck anyway.

I don't think that it will be zero, even in spite of all that's happened. I am sure, though, that they will both be wary.

[ Sebastian had forgotten, too. He frowns.

The pleasure is mine. [ a nod ] Titles are frivolous, but I've grown used to introducing myself with it.

I understand. I, too, have a title, but it's nothing compared to yours, Miss Bernkastel. I am the Phantomhive Family Head Butler.
