Who: EVERYONE EVER IN PROMENADE. What: It's time for the new citizens to awaken. Where: Throughout the city! When: Now! Warnings: None, other than language and possible violence. HAVE AT IT.
[Here is where you awaken, the mirror revealing the world that you know so well, the glass responding to your presence and touch. If you break it, it will only heal, the shattered pieces reforming and revealing the perfect surface from before.
Should you choose to investigate, you may find others in the same living arrangement, in other rooms. The floor has everything you could possibly need to keep you comfortable, so don't worry about not having enough of something, or running out.]
Day (excuse the length? :D) OPENpossiblycantdieMarch 2 2011, 11:26:30 UTC
Mina hadn't slept in years. She hadn't needed to sleep, the physical requirement having been removed after dying. So waking up in an unfamiliar setting, a room that was not her own nor one on the Nautilus was unsettling and frighteningly so

[ Since he arrived, Dracula had picked up the habit of walking around the city. At first it was because he didn't have anything better to do, then because he figured it would be rude to drink blood inside the house and now it was because, as much as he hated to admit it, he was beginning to feel homesick. Today, his walk was interrupted by the sudden feeling of déjà vu he got when he saw Mina out of the corner of his eye. Though he didn't recognize her as anyone he knew, she seemed somehow familiar. He hesitated for a second before deciding to approach her. ]
[ Once finding herself outside Mina quickly realised that she had no idea where she was, or even where to go. She stopped walking before finding herself even more lost, stopping to think and then - in the mean time - being interrupted. A feeling of familiarity passed over her, one that she had never felt before. She'd seen the dead, she'd felt a certain kind of connection once she'd been turned but that had been all. Now something felt similar, familiar to that. She turned, the feeling strengthening the further he approached and she studied him for a moment. Dead, specifically also turned. That she did not possess a good feeling about ]
[If you choose to venture outside, you'll be prompted to place on your mask before going (at least during the day). Those who break this law will find themselves in severe trouble if they don't hastily take back their actions. Before you lies a road, one that seems almost impossible in its length, and along it are the homes of many of the other residents. People are outside, and some may even greet you with a nod of the head, or a bright smile and a handshake. There might even be some who know your name, and say you've always been here

[THE GARDENS + PALACE]seafrontedMarch 1 2011, 05:04:05 UTC
[The gardens are a mystic place, just outside the King and Queen's home. At times it's difficult to tell whether or not they actually live inside the palace, but the maids and watchers are a stern reminder that they indeed are.
The location is covered with a plethora of flowers and plants, each arrangement beautiful in its own way. There are paths to walk through and view them, but careful- if you step too close, you may be caught by the wrist, and reprimanded to refrain from touching anything.]
[It's hard to tell that beneath his pretty ridiculous mask he's agitated. It's a state he tries to stay out of, but what could he say, it had a way of sinking its teeth in.
He wants to know where his sister is. He has not, thus far, gotten so far as contemplating the idea that she might not be here, so he's been looking. He pauses, briefly, to look at some of the garden's flowers, reaching to touch. He gets one of those hands around his wrist and jerks himself free with a scowl. All he's got to say to that is,]
[THE FORBIDDEN PATHS]seafrontedMarch 1 2011, 05:04:21 UTC
[While it may look harmless, this place is heavily guarded. For what reason, it isn't said. For those that pass by, they give a worried glance over their shoulder before trying to move away as fast as possible.
If you prod one of the guards well enough, he'll tell you this is the last seen place of the madman known only as "The Exile". The taint is far and wide, and lest they wish for anyone else to start thinking like the barbarian, it is highly suggested you move along your way. Pay no attention to what you see here.]
[ Day ] NPC required here! Anyone is free to jump in, though.izalogicMarch 1 2011, 15:44:39 UTC
Is that all you can tell me?
[ The faintest hint of a smile toyed with the corners of his pursed lips. It took a lot of persuasion on his part, but the result is highly unsatisfying. Even when he was advised to leave, Izaya didn't budge. You can't just enhance his interest and then shoo him off! ]
[She stares at him, cold and dismissive. She had a duty to look after the residents. That did not cover information she felt they had no right to, and would in fact ruin their safety.]
