[The feed begins with the slightest twitching of fingers. A soft sigh echoes through the room, tired and small, before the body beside the Portal begins to shift, black and cream cloth moving past the PORTAL's view.]
[Silence takes hold for a few moments-- a minute, then two. Eventually there's a laugh, just a small and soft as the sigh before it. Sadder, if at all possible.]
It didn't have to be like that...
[The feed cuts until a short time later, with Ventus peering into the mirror with a pained smile. He's happy to be back, really--]
I guess I fell asleep again.
[But why did it have to be like this?]
Also, uh; if anyone knows Lior or Zaheer, could you ask them to contact me? I can't find them in my contacts, or I'd do it myself.
[He smiles a tad sheepishly at that. Clearly, he's not looking hard enough.]

Everything's okay, right? I saw-- I saw it all to the end. Where are you guys?
Private to Axel, Terezi, Neku, Cloud; and Rapunzel:
How's everyone holding up? Sorry if I worried you; I'm not sure what happened.
[He looks away, mumbling to himself before dropping the feed.]
How long was I gone for, anyway...
Hours later, private to Vanitas:
I-- um.
[A pause.Ventus clears his throat and tries again, saying his words in a firmer tone.]
We need to talk.
