[ His face was the perfect picture of impassiveness as he decided to acknowledge the video feed. ]

So someone did his research then. Well?

[Tron's trying. But the same can't quite be said for his own expression.

He opens his mouth, closes it. Shakes his head. There's little meaning to apologizing for something he doesn't remember. It's not like it will fix what Rinzler-what he seems to have done. To this user or... others.

Quorra said she was the last.]

You-were right. [Words jerky, uneven. He tries again.]

You said I fought you. Why? [Did he have a reason?]

[ He gave the slightest of nods. Of course he was right. He remembered quite vividly, stuffed in this younger body or not. ]

You were chasing her. Relentlessly. She paused to rest next to my house and I offered her shelter. It was temporary as you quickly caught up.

She went out the back way.

I was not going to stand idly by.

[The program nods in return, a small, unsteady motion.]

You shouldn't have. [Stood by.

Tron's quiet for a moment, expression even. And if there are cracks in the stillness, a lingering tension in the set of his shoulders, the tightness of his jaw... it doesn't show in his tone. The words are calm.]

This effect. Will it last?

I was hardly going to hand her over on a silver platter to you. And I held my own ... until that blasted disk ricocheted off my house and clipped me. A fraction more time and I would have moved away. Obviously sometimes a fraction means everything.

[ He watched the program with the air of someone studying a specimen, an experiment. Something he knew much about. ]

At the moment I am still not certain. Though the more widespread occurrences tend to resolve themselves over time.

[Tron shakes his head slightly. He wasn't questioning the other's choices or skills. Just agreeing. The user shouldn't have stood by. And more, he shouldn't have had to step in. But that was Tron's doing. Rinzler's. His.

He recognizes the look. It's not one he cares much for. But that's hardly a concern.]

"Resolve themselves." Go... back, you mean. Revert.

[The program's eyes close for just an instant. A blink, really, nothing worth noting. (Programs don't have to blink.) Then it's over, they snap back open, stare fixed. Intent.]

And there's no way to know when.
