[Ever since the beginning of the Ritornare da Fias festivities, the mirrors that show home have been acting oddly. Strange flickers, the movement of something out of the corner of your eye, it’s all been happening beneath the shiny surface. But so far, it’s never been acting quite so strangely as it has today

[This one spirit seems to linger a bit in background, almost as if he's uncertain to come forward. His hands wring nervously, and every so often you can see him tremble a bit. He is of a kingly nature, but his attitude reflects someone who would rather not have faced politics in his time.]

[ curious. he almost never looks at his mirror, preferring to know the future when he was actually at home, but... the continuous flickers make him uneasy and he's taken to looking at it more. and lo and behold, a spirit. ]

Curious. [ though his deadpan voice sure doesn't make it seem like it is. ]

[Of course, it's not often that he gets noticed (he rather prefers it that way), but when Zaheer announces how he can see him, the spirit moves forward a bit.

His voice is a bit soft, and full of stuttering.]

...H--Hello. You're... a n--n...new resident, yes?

[ his feathered wings ruffle behind him as he chuckles wryly. ]

I would call myself as such, though I have been vehemently said to originate from this city. My name is Zaheer Bell of Yin.

[This ghost has an elegant, regal air to her, moreso than the others, and stares out through the mirror with a look of disdain. It seems like she'd rather be anywhere but here, but she will speak if you bid her to.]

[ he was working on his scrapbook on the floor as usual, but seeing a flicker of a ghost--then an outline of a ghost--has given him pause. scared pause. he just jumped out of his skin, before squinting. he inches closer, reaching out to touch. ]

And just where has that hand been, young man? [She sounds (and looks) offended.] My word.

Wow-- [ and now he looks positively overflowing with glee. ] Are you a ghost?

[ And in this corner sits the best spirit in all of Promenade. Or so he claims himself to be. A young looking man with a playful, flirty smile on his lips that is practically in your face at all times.

Unless you're a man, in which case he seems to back off a little. Sort of. ]

[You know he was just trying to trim his goatee man and then he almost went and shaved half of it off.]

[Is he sober? Actually that doesn't matter but you know, hallucinations just happened, who knows if they'll happen again.]

[ Not what he was hoping for, but fine. At least Tony isn't gross looking. ]

Primping, spying on goings on at home. First time I’ve seen something like this in the mirror, do I get an introduction?

[ This spirit is hard to see, at least at first, as if time has kept it away from keeping even a semblance of its old form. The more you look, however, the clearer the outline is -- an elderly woman, with a look in her eye that is somewhere between regal and grandmotherly. ]

[Shiro's gone back to his cave for a little break when he sees something that doesn't belong there shimmering in the deep, reflective pool that served as his mirror. He takes off his white top hat and rubs some of the makeup off his face before looking down at it]

Hey. Heeeey. Who are you. Why are you in my pond, huh?

Hmm?

[ The voice is distant, as if the spirit in question has just woken up from a nap -- or is hard of hearing, which is far more likely. ]

Oh-- hello, young man. I am the late Queen Camilla.

[ There's a blink, as though she's just now seeing what's behind Shiro. ]

... Dear, are you aware that you're inside a cave?

Late? [he blinks. There were more Queens before that mask lady? Filing that away for later]

Yeah, it's my place of solace! So why are you in my pond, Queen? [he seems genuinely curious instead of belligerent]
