002 ◘ Keyblade Graveyard Horizon [day//accidental video]
[It's been a long time since Vanitas has shown himself around the network, or even around town. But the masked boy hasn't gone anywhere.
The view from the PORTAL is strangely unclear. The device must be covered in the layer of dust - splotches have accumulated, and the overlay is think enough to make the images difficult to discern - a sign that it's been left neglected for quite some time. As the device pans around the area, trying to find something to focus on, major landmarks can be made out. As far as the viewer can tell, there's no life here. Rock formations can be seen jutting out of the ground, varying from being about as tall as a person to apparently being full-blown cliffs. Though it's much harder to make out, a large crater can also be seen in the distance.
It's hard to see how far the terrain extends, especially considering the state of the camera. But the ending certainly isn't anywhere in sight.
Though the place won't mean anything to most, some in Promenade may find the strange new area familiar...and they will likely guess who was responsible for bringing it to the city. Looks like somebody found his Place of Solace.
After a few more minutes of this, the camera finally finds a subject to focus on - a figure in black, easily recognizable as Vanitas. Apparently he finally noticed that the video was running. As he comes closer, some may notice a strange blue shape darting across the image in the distance, but whatever it was quickly vanishes. By the time Vanitas stops walking, only his boots are still visible.]
