Mine isn't my home. It's actually part of a forest that I spent a lot of time in back in my world. I don't know if you've passed it or anything, but it's dark with a lot of colourful lights floating around inside it.

I actually have been to the forest not too long ago, I think I might have spotted it along the way. It sounds beautiful.

Are the colorful lights Pok- uh, I mean animals?

No, the lights are faeries, actually, there are a few animals in the forest but they're very dangerous.

I was gonna say Pokémon. Pokémon are what I'm familiar with more so than animals.

I see.. What are faeries? [His tone is evident of his curiosity, patiently listening while the bird atop his head flaps its wings to keep steady while it moves onto the teen's shoulder.]

Pokemon? [ She seems excited about this, ] I just got a Pokemon myself, actually! It's a Magikarp from Harper. [ Shut up. ]

They're like...little people, actually. With colourful wings that live in the forest.

[That gets a small laugh.] Oh, really? So you know Harper? Did she explain what Magikarps are? Such as types and moves?

[The Archen now cries, pecking at Touya for attention. Who he has to pet.] Archen here is a Pokémon.

Little people with colorful wings.. Wow. [But hey he is talking to a glowy elf, people made of metal and such here. Anything might as well be seen here.]

Yes, she told me about them and how they evolve into Gyarados' with a lot of love and training. Oh, I also met N, he was really nice and told me about Pokemon, too!

He's cute! There are so many different types.

You can come and see them whenever you like.

I know N from home, he can actually communicate with Pokémon so I'm sure he'll be happy to talk with your Magikarp. That's good to hear though, if you have any questions about Pokémon you're free to ask.

[Cute huh? Archen puffs up that feathery body.] While Magikarp is a Water-type, Archen here is a Rock and Flying type. She can't fly yet, not until she evolves.

Really? If it's okay then I would be happy to get a closer look.

What does she evolve into?

I wouldn't say a lot, it's actually quite a few. Well it is compared to back at home where everyone know about Pokemon.

She'll evolve into a Archeops, she'll grow three feet in height. The species are very fast runners and so they become easily able to fly. [The Archen tilts her head, nipping at a finger once Touya ran it down her beak.] These Pokemon are actually extinct, I was only able to get her by having the fossil revived.

I would appreciate that.
