[ Well, he did leave all of a sudden and ignored his PORTAL the whole time. Not to mention he didn't leave a note or anything. Realizing this, he can't imagine how they are now. ]

Terra and I were under orders to find Xehanort and end the threat from creatures called the Unversed when Ven ran away from home to chase after Terra. Master charged me with the duty of bringing them both home, but when we all last spoke before the Graveyard- [A pause, reeling back the urge to scream...cry...something.] Some things happened to cause us to doubt each other. We split apart, and that's when things went downhill. I'd hoped Ven would go home so he would be safe from the threat the Unversed and Vanitas posed, but he didn't listen ( ... )

"Why didn't you try harder then, when you had the chance?! Why didn't you just listen to what he had to say? How could you do that to someone you care about?"
Only, he knows that she probably feels guilty about the whole thing and just throwing accusations would get them nowhere. These "feelings" that he's gets has been getting stronger by the day, since he hid away with Ventus and he can only guess why. But that's for later, for when he has a quiet moment to himself. ]
I won't say I understand, because I don't. [ pause ] But I know you tried to do what you thought was right, even if it was wrong.
[ a shake of his head ] Just.. try to take care of him now. The last few days haven't been easy.

Getting the overly strong hint that she was in the wrong, however, was a slap in the face. More than anything, she wishes that she could have done more...

Hearing all of this, he's even more reluctant to leave Ventus alone despite understanding the need to think about everything that's happened. Sometimes, it's still hard to believe that they doubted each other but. Didn't the same happen to him at some point?
There's a brief flash of a memory, one where he turns his back on Axel, his best friend, in order to search out the truth for himself. There's a difference but the basics are the same. He can't fault Ventus for wanting to know what's going on, as he did the same not too long ago. Axel kept things from him just the way Aqua seems to have done with Ventus; however, he hopes that she'll tell the other blond now. ]
You don't have to promise me anything. Just do it.

She can't reply. Instead, all she does is place the PORTAL down in front of the mirror without even thinking about it so she can cover her face with both hands as the tears began to silently fall.
If she could... she would do whatever it took to save them both--anything to save them from Xehanort and Vanitas. It's just how she is. Then there is reality blaring in her face that it's impossible, even with all her time magic, to travel back and fix the wrongs she committed. All the lies to protect them, the words left unsaid ( ... )

She will be talking to Ven soon, and there will be even more tears before forgiveness can happen, but there will be talks. Because just like the mirror shows...
This may be her last chance for a "normal" life for a long while, too.
The image of her continues fighting, alone in the darkness and showing just how much she's capable of on her own, even in the opposing element. Light and Barrier magic swirl around her just as easily as flame and ice like an intricate dance as she's literally fighting for her right to exist.]
...I took the fall for Terra. [That's what she saw, at least. Trying to pick herself up, and failing.] I saved his body from this nightmare, but fell because I didn't have the strength to get us both out.
