[The video onlines to what a lot of people would consider a run down, dinky place. There are broken pews here and there, boards half hanging from the ceiling, and the glass in the windows mostly gone, though there were still some colourful panes remaining intact here and there ( Read more... )

[N studies the scene with interest. Is this one of these "Places of Solace" he's heard of? To N, it looks like a fascinating place, the flowers and the water, and the pieces of bright glass. It reminds him a little of the ruined parts of Dragonspiral Tower.

He doesn't want to disturb Cloud, so he sends a gentle thought out. Maybe he can speak to him within his sleep?]

It's beautiful, Cloud. Is that where you live now?

[Due to certain past events and changes to his body, Cloud is very sensitive to 'voices in his head'. So he wakes up immediate.]

Ngggnn...what? [There is a confused look on his face as he gropes for his communicator and his brain jolts back to wakefulness.]

Oh...not really. I'm still staying in that room I woke up in since it's convenient for exploring the city. This IS my place of solace though. I think.

I'm still living in the same room, too. I haven't found my Place of Solace yet. If it's very familiar to you, I would guess that it's yours. Unless there's someone else here from your world? [He's very interested in the entire concept of Places of Solace.] Does your place have a name?

We don't have that kind of flower in my world. Not in my region.

It is... Familiar to me, that is. I was living here for a while before I came to the city. [Cloud gives a quick shake of his head, before realizing that N probably couldn't see that.] No, I haven't met anyone from my world yet. And this place doesn't really have a name...

[At the mention of the flowers Cloud glances down at the yellow flowers near his feet and reached down to gently touch the petals. No, there's no true name for the Church, he and his friends have always simply connected this place with Aerith.] These kind of flowers only grow here. I've never seen them grow anywhere else, even in my world.

I've seen a few people here from my world. Maybe you'll meet some friends you know soon, too. [N has liked all the trainers he's met, and it's so much easier to know how to deal with people through their Pokémon.]

So it's a special place. They're lovely flowers. I wonder why places from our world appear here, along with us.

Maybe. Ah think Ah'd rather have them stay where they are. No need to get trapped here like we are. [Alas for Cloud he has no such helpful pokemon...he has to deal with people awkwardly all by himself.]

It is. Some sort of trick maybe.

I wouldn't want anyone to be trapped here, but you could look out for each other. I'm glad to be here with my friends, since they need me. Those from my world don't seem to mind being here so much, perhaps because we're all brought here with our friends. My home is where my friends are, although I believe everyone should be sent back to their proper homes.

Perhaps you are right. Something to reinforce the idea that we belong here. We can't make buildings on our own, yet these buildings are made for us, without our asking.

Home is where the heart is, huh... [He had a hard time believe that once. Now, it's easier.]
