[You know. Minding your own business/exploring this huge place only works when you can see where you're going.
So having a flier smack Terra right in the face is seriously off-putting. Especially when he's controlling a rather fast personal hover-glider, and his vision is already limited thanks to the armored helm on your head.] What the--
[Stopping--more like skidding sideways to come to a complete stop, and then getting the offending piece of paper out of his face. And then reading the offending piece of paper.] ... what's a Struggle Tournament?
[He will forever be in denial if anyone saw that little moment of derp.]
[ And Roxas is coasting along, stopping every once in a while to post one of the pieces of paper that's in his hands on a random wall of a building or door.
--Until he sees the armored person and the cool hover thing that he's riding on. Just what is that? Curiosity gets the better of him and if it turns out to be someone dangers, he's not going to hesitate in defending himself.
But the voice is kinda familiar... And he sees his (and Rapunzel's) flier in the person's hands. ]
Uh, hey! You interested?
[ He keeps his distance just until he knows it's safe. ]
[When it's done, Terra's just standing there, the flier in his hands. And no sign of the glider or the armor he was wearing. He's also got a grin on his face.
Um. What.] You could say that. Mind if I ask what a 'Struggle Tournament' is?
[And yes, he's acting like the trick with the glider and the armor is just an everyday thing for him.]
Because really, he's trying to figure out just how you did that and just making it disappear like it's nothing. Granted he can make a corridor but that seems like nothing in comparison to what the other did. Okay, so maybe the older Keybearer got a few plus points for that. ]
First lemme ask.. how did you do that?
[ If this has something to do with having a Keyblade then he's definitely interested. Being able to fly around would be awesome. ]
[Blink. Then getting it, and chuckling.] You mean the glider? I'll show you.
[Summoning Ends of the Earth--and it's like a freaking data summon, except it's blocks of light instead of numbers. Then the thing is getting tossed into the air, and it's disappearing into a small portal of light. ... and then the Glider comes down out of that same small portal.
Look at the glider, then keep his Keyblade in mind. The resemblance is uncanny.] It's called a Keyblade Glider. It's usually what I use to travel the space between worlds, but this place is large enough that it's easier to travel by air.
[ Just. Keeps. Staring. Because man if that isn't cool...
Now he's thinking twice about that offer of getting trained. If Terra can do that because of his training, would he be able to do that too? Just what else can a trained Keybearer can do? ]
I gotta admit, that's pretty impressive.
[ Definitely a much cooler way to travel to different worlds, but. At least the corridor allows for near instantaneous transportation. That comes in handy some times. ]
So, you'd be able to teach me that if I trained under you?
Oh. [ Well dang if he doesn't have things to think about. But not now. He'll just keep this in mind. ]
Uh, right. It's kinda like a fighting competition that goes on in Twilight Town, but with padded bats instead of real weapons.
[ He will not mention that it was a simulated Twilight Town that he stayed in instead of the real one, nope. Because then he just might have to explain how he got there in the first place and really, Roxas doesn't even remember too much about it. Probably because he had been so angry when he found out about it. ]
[You have apparently said the magic words, because he's raising an eyebrow and... Light help you, that's a competitive glint in his eye. He is now thinking this over.] A fighting competition without the danger of hurting anyone...
[Thinking. Thinking. Grinning.] That sounds like a lot of fun. Count me in.
[ Something tells him that things just got a little interesting and he's kinda wishing he'd be able to compete too. Unfortunately, he'll be refereeing the event since not a lot of people know about it. Still, that doesn't stop the small grin from showing on his own face. ]
I'll write you down then. [ And he proceeds to do just that on his PORTAL so he doesn't forget. ] Too bad I won't be competing. I bet it'll be a lot of fun fighting you.
[This whole tournament thing sounds like a blast to him; the last time he had fun like that... wow. Disney Town. Before that...
'Not since before the Mark of Mastery exam.' In short; a long time coming. Though he is a little disappointed that Roxas won't be competing.] You're the one that knows the rules. It makes sense that you'd be making sure it all goes right.
[... well, he'd hate to disappoint the kid...] ... tell you what; after the main tournament, we can fight each other if you still want to.
[ He'd already earned his title back in the simulated Twilight Town, never mind that the whole thing had been fabricated, so there was no need to earn it again. It's what he knows, memories he'll keep with him no matter what. That time had been proof of his life.
But hearing Terra offer a sparring match after the tournament is done, well. How can he turn that down? ] Alright, you're on! We won't need to be constricted to the rules of the tournament too.
[ If he were honest, Roxas wants to fight Terra with their Keyblades, not Struggle bats. But he'll take what he can get and he does want to see what a trained Keybearer can do. Should be interesting to say the least. ]
I guess this'll give you a chance to check out my abilities too, huh.
[This? Is a laugh. And definitely a grin.] Great! I'll be looking forward to it.
[Ah... well. Slight nod.] Somewhat. If we decide not to hold back, you'll get to see some of what I can do, too.
[Though... he'll keep the Shotlocks out of this. ... and the Ultimate-tier magic. ... and he'll try not to activate command styles-- ... ...hm. Either he'll have to practice holding back, or he'll have to figure out beforehand what he shouldn't do.
... or get Aqua to referee and set some ground rules. ... he likes this idea the most.]
[ He's getting excited at the prospect of not holding back in a fight with Terra. If the older male means what he's thinking, then no Struggle bats at all- fighting it out with their Keyblades and seeing what the other had in terms of ability and strength. Of course they wouldn't be able to do that at the beach all those people around, so it'd have to be at a later time. Either way, it's something to look forward to.
Roxas briefly wonders if he should mention his synch blade ability but decides against it again. He's already the odd one out by not having the Rite done on him, don't need knowing that ability on top of it. If it comes down to it during the fight, he would use it but for now it's his trump card.
Unless someone let the cat out of the bag. ]
If we're gonna do that, then it's probably a good idea not to do it during the party. I wouldn't want anyone getting hurt when they're supposed to have fun.
[ Not to mention it would just totally ruin everything he, Rapunzel and Axel worked so hard for. He definitely doesn't

[Said with a total straight face. Quake's pretty destructive, and Mega Flare... he loves it, but it takes out everything in the surrounding area.]
