No one can talk at night, by decree of the King, because the King cannot talk. It makes little sense to me, but that is how it is. We can only communicate mind to mind when it is dark. [N actually finds it easier. His mental speech is much clearer than his vocal speech, but it is odd to speak to humans this way.]
