[Dexter is usually very careful with his PORTAL. He had seen that it can turn on accidentally, and he had made sure that it was either in his pocket or covered up in case he was doing something ... different. Tonight, however, his mind was elsewhere. He was at Harrison's first birthday party before he arrived, and ... it was quite strange to wake up in his apartment without knowing how he got there. Putting the pieces together had been easy, but it wasn't a pleasant surprise.
He's pacing the apartment when the PORTAL turns on; it's placed on his kitchen counter. He's actually thinking to himself at the moment, and you'll be able to hear some of his thoughts, with strange pauses, and some get cut off every now and then, like he's trying to correct his own thoughts.]
