This is ridiculous.

These things are poorly designed I can't..grhh..forget it

Does anybody know how to alter a can opener to work for a cat? I don't want to have to shift every time I need to eat.

A bit, yeah. It requires concentration or my bones will go in the wrong places. It just takes a lot of energy. By the time I shift, use the can opener and shift back I won't even be hungry anymore.
