[Yuuta appears on the screen, looking a little perplexed. He has all sorts of ingredients around him, some cookbooks, and it looks like he has had some failed... experiments.]
I don't suppose someone would be willing to give me some cooking lessons?

[Knock knock~he's waiting at the door.]

Thank you again for coming. Despite living on my own, I'm hopeless in the kitchen.

[He comes in.] All can be learned, don't worry. I was very bad at first, i was lucky that Aisha had a lot of patience.

Hopefully I will not be a terrible student. I know how to prepare tea and things that have instructions, but when it comes to meals a little more detailed... the results are not always edible.

[Laurent chuckles softly.]Baby steps then. What sort of meal did you have in mind? I can cook all sort of food, but where I come form it was often spicy, sweets aren't my strongest point. But I can prepare those too, with a bit more effort.

[He gets out a cook book where there are some (supposedly) simply curry dishes. But from all the pots and pans in the sink, and the fresh wastebasket... they were not.]
Something like this?

[Laurent looks down at the book, those are similar to the recipes he knows. good. He's already dreaming up new and clean pots and pans.]

[He pauses.]
Should I just start dreaming up the ingredients?

That will be useful, yes. I am done dreaming up all the things we need to cook.
Reply
...okay. How shall we start?

First we wash our hands and the groceries. And then we heat oil in a pan until it is hot but before it is smoking. [Laurent moves to the sink and washed his hands.] Never cook with smoking oil, there needs to be enough oil to cook whatever you're going to eat.
[ooc. and this mun has no idea how to prepare curry, so the info about how to do it it's from a recipe >.> I hope it's okay.]

[He is curious about this now. Gods meddled in the affairs of mortals whether they liked it or not, to preserve the balance of the universe, or if someone meddled in their affairs. They mostly made offerings to make sure that they knew they were being respected, and to help spirits in the afterlife.]
Of course. I believe my grandmother warned me about that once... and different oils burn at different temperatures.
[OOC: that is perfectly alright! /can barely make stir fry]
