Oh, I know that much. Mammals are pretty strange, if you ask me. Totally out of the normal psychological spectrum -- completely lovely, in so many ways. They don't worry about things like differences in people and --

I'm not talking about just birds, though. You don't seem like the person to listen to things like this, or haven't to me at least. Do you have any special abilities, then? Did your family?

There are voices everywhere, in everyone. People and things speak in so many different ways, sometimes it's hard to tell who's talking.

I don't, I mean, not a lot. That's more my brothers' and sisters' thing. We, uh, get it from our dad.

[Tooo complicated explaining all the moms.]

And I'm pretty sure you didn't strike me as the sensitive, listening type.

[Daemyn practically jumps for joy. His whole body seems to have relaxed, his face lighting up as his grin stretches to his ears obnoxiously.]

That's absolutely amazing! To have a family like that, a real family. Can you tell me about it? I haven't actually really met anyone who was born into a magic-wielding family. Or whatever it is that you do, either way. I just. That's wonderful.

I suppose we've found something new out about each other.

We all live apart, actually. Different moms, and I don't really get to see anybody all that often.
