[Hi, Promenade. Your Friendly Neighborhood Skeleton hasn't been around much lately. He's had more important things to do. Like preparing to teach all of you about the joys of Halloween type of important things.

And what better way to start than showing a piece of Halloween Town over the PORTAL?

His Place of Solace, The Halloweentown Graveyard, has seen some remodeling over the last few months. The pumpkins have been recarved, each one showing a different face: bats, vampires, zombies, werewolves, snakes, spiders, and many more are scattered throughout the graveyard. The tombstones have new carvings: some are short, simply stating "BOO!" or "Don't look behind you." Others contain full stories in small print. But one wouldn't want to spend too long reading them, lest something jump out at you from behind the tombstone...

Jack has also decided that this year's Halloween should be centered around werewolves. While they're not too prominent in the setting yet (he wouldn't want to ruin all the surprise, after all), he has set a little spot aside for them. Underneath the hill, there are a handful of four-foot tall, realistic werewolf statues standing in a circle. All of them have been splattered with a dark red paint. If you're looking closely, you'll notice that there's a handful of muffins inside the werewolf circle. All of them have decorated to also resemble werewolves.

You might also see a bat flash across the PORTAL at random intervals. There may have been too many of them dreamed up recently. But Jack's got that under control. Really.

... Well, at least they fit in?

There are also various traps hidden throughout. What might pop out at you if you happen to trigger one of these is currently a mystery.

Jack is moving through his Place of Solace, turning the PORTAL in various ways so everyone can get the full view of the scene. After about two rounds, he moves to sit on top of the hill.]

Dear city, it is only one hundred and fifteen more days until the next Halloween! I'm afraid I've never been more appreciative of those who helped me in years past. It is truly a daunting task without them. But, as you can see, there is no need to worry! It is all coming together quite well. Promenade will see the most frightening Halloween this year, I am sure of it.

Pray tell, does anyone have any suggestions? Questions? Things they'd be absolutely terrified to see this year?
