[ The video kicks on this time, and it's just Ichigo with his chin propped on his fist. He's not bothering with locks, and what not since Genero has made it pretty obvious those filters weren't keeping anything private. ]

[And after that, she's out the door and flash-stepping her way to the beach, swords at hip and looking pretty tired, actually. There's circles under her eyes (though barely visible due to the mask at this point), and her movements betray a weariness that shouldn't be there.

Her hands are in her pockets as she lets out an exhale. Better late than never with this conversation, at least.]

[ Awkward boy is awkward, too. He's got his hands jammed in his pockets, and is looking out from behind his bangs at Madsen blurring into view. Those orange, spiky bangs are all he's hiding behind, though. He hasn't worn his mask since the moment Genero strapped him to that table. ]

[It's only when she knows they're not going to be interrupted by citizens that she lifts the metal phoenix mask up, tossing it into the sand next to her. She nods a little at his word.]

So, um. It looks like me, Shiro, Kanji, Souji, and that Ace guy are going to go take a look at those 'Forbidden Paths'. We got a huge dose of what this place can do over time, so I figure it's high time we learned more about it.

Can't use the network for important shit anymore, either. Genero made that clear enough.

And ... yeah, I saw the post. I'm planning on talking to Tony about reorganizing things again... hopefully getting some sort of system set up offline so we can't get caught that easily.

[She gives him a small smile before her own expression falls.]

I ... didn't tell you this, but shortly before I came back, my student was murdered, along with one of his friends. The man who did it was one of my brother's former coworkers who's still working for Kresoveer.

After the timeshift, apparently I remembered bits and pieces from what happened to me and Nithal ...

Kain's going to murder my brother, Ichigo. And I have no fucking clue how to stop him.

[ He reluctantly smirks. Madsen, at least, wasn't mad at him, still.
But, the next thing she says brings him up short. ]

[No, she honestly did understand where he was coming from, and even though she was worried about him, he'd make it through, they all were, somehow.]

I know it's coming, but not when exactly.

And any other attempt I've tried to make in signaling the others something was wrong hasn't worked yet, so who's this going to be any different. I don't want it to happen, but I have no way of warning Jake or anyone else.
