[The PORTAL's currently leaning against one of the beams on the porch of the temple that is Subaru's Place of Solace, and you can see his back's currently turned from the camera. The report of gunfire makes it pretty obvious what he's doing, and after clearing one set of targets, he keeps one gun trained on them as he turns. What's weird is that his normally cheerful face has leaked a hint of confusion and worry - talking with Kirachi and seeing everyone else's reactions didn't do much to lighten his mood any, but he really couldn't say much - at best, things had come to him in flashes.
He regards the PORTAL with a small nod before speaking:]
Hi, guys. I know things are a bit ... heavy right now, but if anyone wants to talk, I'm just putting my own offer out there - been told I'm pretty good at cheering people up.
[He lets out a dry laugh before holstering both pistols.]
