[ Spock is walking around what appears to have been a bedroom a some point. Now it has shelves and nicely organized binders. It is hard to tell on the camera what is on each of them or what their purpose is, but it is truly the work of someone who was cautious and logical of this entire situation. ]
Despite my memories of before this place having become unclear, I am glad that I was thinking far enough ahead that I am aware that there was a time prior to this place. It is only unfortunate that I do not maintain those memories.
[ Spock moves to a shelf and pulls out a binder. ]
I did receive complaints that keeping paper records were unnecessary; however, I am glad that I did.
[ He flips pages through the binder. ]
Although when I first arrived here, I did not believe I would be here for quite so long. I know that there is little logic attached to this place.
[ He closes it, an returns it to a shelf. ]
Jim, the new Phasers are in perfect working order. They are more efficient as well.
