I have no intention to remain here long enough for such a thing to be necessary.

Yeah, you may not intend on staying here, but it seems like we're pretty much stuck. You can totally make the best of a bad situation, right?

Forming relationships here are not logically necessary at this time.

But relationships aren't about logic. They're about feelings and connections and stuff. Everybody needs somebody, sometimes. That's even a song, a classic song. It was in a paper towel commercial.

Precisely, they are not about logic.

And life isn't logical, either. It's messy and complicated and the rules almost never apply.

My life is completely logical.

Life's not supposed to be completely logical. It's supposed to be random and funny and tragic and unexpected. It's supposed to surprise you and make you mad and do the wacky.

I don't experience those things.

But that's what life is. You're supposed to experience those things. You've never once just burst out laughing for some random reason?

No.

You've never cried because someone said something stupid or you said something stupid and you're just super frustrated with yourself?

That is not how I was raised.
