I was wondering if anyone's tried to investigate the magic side of this place, see if it's a spell or alternate dimension of sorts.

Look like that route's all dried up though.

Also just wanted to know what kind of magic people could practice. Keeping track, so to say.

I'm new here too but I talked to different people and yes, some people tried to investigate, but I don't think they know what exactly is this place.

In Carmandine we didn't categorize it. Magic was magic. Is how the magic user use their powers what defined some spells as good or bad.

I see. Back where I'm from, there's specialties. Some people can do more medical magic, others specialize in tech, others in just the study of magic. I do a lot more offensive type magic, myself.

Technology is not very advanced where I come from, at least bot as advanced as the one in this city. And those who studied magic usually did magic themselves too, protective and offensive.
