It must also take an extra helping of crummy luck and sheer talent to spend days in a new place and not notice your friends are around. He probably shouldn't have tried to break that mirror.
Having exhausted all of his other options for escape, he finally, begrudgingly investigates his PORTAL. A little fiddling turns it on but, even once he's sure he's made some kind of progress, he draws a blank as to what he should do next. What to say... The very-public message of Escape Will Not Happen Get Over It is just starting to sink in for him, but he can't avoid the subject altogether.
