Well, as if this situation wasn’t weird enough already this papyrus scroll I woke up with just turned into some sort of scrying device. [He stops and looks thoughtful for a moment, as if he needs a bit longer to let that fully set in, then shakes his head slowly.]
But since you’re all [flippant hand wave] out there someone must be able to fill me in. This is obviously not the Duat. And it doesn’t seem to be Earth, either. Not as I know it anyway, although I guess I’ve gotten a little out of touch with Earth over the years. So correct me if I’m wrong. Or explain this to me if I’m right. I’d rather not be left in the dark any longer.
[And now he looks a tad uncomfortable-he’s not really used to talking to people anymore, let alone the idea of asking them for help. But he quickly fixes on a blank face again and awaits his answers.]
