JOINT video/day; Fenrir and Gwyneth

Jun 04, 2011 21:05

[The video opens to a pair of faces: a serious-looking teenage girl and Fenrir, oozing charm and charisma. The contrast is rather stunning- the girl couldn't be more lineface if she tried. When she stares into the camera, even through the mask her black eyes are oddly piercing, like she's seeing you, not just the PORTAL.]

The world is wrong.

Well, I haven't. Though I worked pretty close to it back home...

{On the other hand, she's immortal. Oblivious to that little tidbit, but immortal all the same.

[Stare. Stare. Staaaaaaaaare.]

You answer an unneeded question, Immortal. You are among the undying. It's obvious.

video; it's fine! Kind of went over her head though XD itaidakimasu June 5 2011, 02:36:23 UTC
A-Ah, I guess I did.

How can you tell if a person has died before or not?

The spectral hound always knows. I go before Death, and follow after, and seek it where it looms and where it has left behind marks.

[Headtilt.]

But you will not.

[video] /rambly, unable to sleep, hopefully this makes sense derp truailligh June 5 2011, 01:37:40 UTC
I haven't kept track exactly but several have passed and been resurrected for whatever reason. I'd rather they just died and stayed that way; it's how it works back home and if I have to feel the death of a person more than once, I won't be pleased.

[She's the only banshee, she dislikes the headaches it causes and the grief because, of course, people care about one another here, invariably the idiot that ends up dead signing up for things they shouldn't or for whatever other reason.]

I know when a death is meant to come - not the person, I just know where to go and I don't know the how of it either yet - and I'm meant to announce it.

[Not that people really get that here. As long as she's not by the teneka, she doesn't feel any particular pull toward a place either.]

Do the resurrections hurt you, Harbinger? [This is relevant to her interests. D: ]

No, thankfully.

[Still, they annoy her. You die and unless vampires and demons slide in, you stay dead dammit.]

Good.

[She was marginally concerned about himself, no lies.]

[She looks off idly.]

Death should not be trifled with. It is unnatural, and Genero knows it well, as do those unfortunate enough to suffer his reanimation.

Do you know what happens when he reanimates people, then?

[She shakes her head.]

I do not, but I spoke with one of his subjects and she was disturbed by it.

[Gwyn leans in from the video frame, brows furrowed in intense thought.]

It disturbs the balance of life and being, of death and time and the turning of the Earth.

You spoke to someone and she had a name. [Who was it? She won't ask.]

Fenrir, are you holding out on your old man? Who's your girlfriend?

[/MISSING THE POINT BY A WHOLE LOT.]

[ SIGH. LIFE IS SO HARD WHEN YOUR TWO DADDIES ARE ALL UP IN YOUR BUSINESS. ]

No, I'm not. She's not my girlfriend. She's the Black Dog -- you know, the death omen?

[ The death omen he casually has his arm wrapped around. That's how he rolls. ]
