[Cringes at the noise. Really, the entire teneka thing was an affront to his dignity. He doesn't move so that the other can see him, his mental voice would carry regardless.]

It is not misplaced. But I wonder, would they offer a replacement should it get damaged?

I'm not sure. I don't think anybody's broken theirs in the last few days, so we haven't had a chance to find out.

Well, the king and queen haven't made any appearances, but one of their higher-ups made a post to, ah...chastise some of us for our behavior. He said his name was Heda Genero.

Well, according to him we're all actually residents of this city who just 'woke up'. And someof us who wanted to get back to where we were before began making public posts for attack plans and the like for how to escape.

[There is a long pause at hearing this. But what can be expected of such open plans. It seems like there were also a decent number of humans wandering about this place.

It seems he must watch his tongue or his thoughts over these. But it wasn't a game he hadn't played before.]

Residents of this city. And have you been given a role or task? It seems they expect us to be a bit more proactive in this city.

An interesting request and one I wasn't expecting. Then perhaps we should do just that.

[That makes two of them, though his is more on annoyance. He'd not have all those years wasted just to start again.]

I've been trying, with mixed results. My Place of Solace has helped the adjustment. It's a place from...well, either my home world, or my dream if Genero-san is telling the truth. From what he said, the city contains one for everybody.

[It brings something here? All the more easier to make a connection from one world or another, dream or not. Though, finding the right components seemed to be the more difficult task.]

Can you tell me where Genero resides? In case I would like to have a word with him.

I'm sorry, I don't know. He was being...rather provocative, so it wouldn't make much sense for him to broadcast his location to people he knows to be hostile towards him anyways.

These are things beyond your control. This will all take time to adjust to.

I've accepted that. All I can really do at this point is adapt and gather as much information as possible.
