[Ned's sitting at his kitchen counter, eating a bowl of cereal and drinking a cup of coffee when the PORTAL turns on. He definitely looks more relaxed than when he first arrived and he's settled quite nicely considering the circumstances. He times turning on the PORTAL badly, letting it record just as he stuffs a spoonful of cereal into his mouth, milk dripping down his chin.
That's so attractive.
His eyes widen in surprise when he realizes that yes, it's recording, and he can't help but smile and suppress a chuckle as not to choke on his cereal. Rather embarrassed, he swallows quickly and washes it down with a sip of coffee. Finally, he's able to speak. Rather quickly.]
So all those animals were people? Or that's what I heard. I saw a few but I can't really ... well, I haven't been through any of that, or any of this or have any idea on how that even happened and why would someone do that in the first place? If we're all stuck here together I'd think that we'd want to stick together if anything, I can't even -- [deep breath] at least it's over?
