[The video clicks on to show a nice, wide view of Elijah's room; he doesn't seem to know or notice it's on, but fortunately, he also doesn't seem to be doing anything scandalous. He steps down from a chair in the center of the room, his back to the camera, and glances up at the ceiling.]

It's good to know there's other magic users here, I guess. I don't really know what you did, but it follows the same style that the dragons use for some spells on my world.

Dragons, huh... [More of them?] An' how is that?

[More of them indeed. You're talking to one right now. c:]

Your gestures. Mostly when we use magic, it comes from the mind. If we add motion, it either helps or hinders the spell. It depends on what you're aiming for.

Ah... Well, uh. Guess it works the same way with our magic-the kind we use back home, I mean. Usin' gestures helps out, but only if you get the motion just right.

Really? That's... pretty neat. Do you have elemental magic at all?

Some, but that ain't my specialty. Can't hardly be a magic-user in this day an' age without it.

... Well, the day an' age back home, at least.

Most of the dragons specialized in one, according to the land they lived in. Red was fire, yellow was sky, black was storm, blue was water, green was nature, and white was ice. Those are the six that still are in Vale now, from what I remember.

Oh, sorry. I got curious and didn't introduce myself. I'm Mysari.

Vale, huh... [Maybe he should look further into this.]

Ah, s'all right...Mysari? [He nods to her in lieu of having a hat to tip.] The name's Elijah. Elijah Morgan, that is.

[She nods.] That was the name of the land we shared with the humans a long time ago. We used to work together.

Nice to meet you. Very few humans I know can use magic, they usually have to be taken in by us to learn it.

Ah, wait, now, wait just a minute... Forgive me if I'm misunderstandin' your meanin', but-you mean to say you ain't human?

Right. I'm a dragon, Mr. Elijah. I usually prefer to stay in my human form because it's easier for us to talk like this.

[Oh... Oh.]

Ah... A dragon, now... Gotta say, I ain't never known a dragon to take any kinda...human form.

Well... Most don't. At least, from other worlds, from what I can tell. With mine, we learned quickly that we were meant to work with humanity in harmony and aid each other. Like I said, it makes things easier for us to talk about this way.

Right... Guess I can, uh...see how that might work. [Though he's clearly still boggling.]

And, uh, just by the by-ya don't need to call me Mr. Elijah, y'know. Mr. Morgan's just fine, or even just Elijah.
