[Veles has been in Promenade for a while now, long enough to know that barring Lioriley, he hated pretty much everyone here. Loud, ungrateful, rude - just the tip of the iceberg, he could really go on for years about his distaste but dragons love knowledge and he'd like to know about other worlds and what they have.
Just don't ask how a dragon can

As for dragons... kind of depends on your definition. My brother's been called a dragon, but he's really more of a giant sea snake.

You would think that even a human would be able to tell the difference between a snake and a dragon - snakes are usually lacking in limbs after all. And wings. But we dragons do hunt at sea so I would perhaps understand if it came from the ramblings of drunken sailors.

Oh yeah, lots of drunks. You have no idea.
Let's see... There was Fáfnir, who was actually born a dwarf but turned into a dragon after killing his father and taking cursed treasure. See, his brother was an otter during the day, but three gods -- including my father, nice guy that he is -- killed him and were all "oh look at us we have a dead otter". The king and his sons got mad, understandably, and so they made Loki -- that's my father -- go collect a ransom and put it in the pelt. Dad's a Trickster, so he put cursed treasure that will bring death to the owner inside and gave that to them. Fáfnir killed his father to take the treasure for himself and ran off into the wilderness with it where his greed and general bad temper turned him into a dragon.
[ A pause here. You still with him, Veles? ]

Fascinating. If it were possible I would ask if you would wish to visit the chunk of the island that was good enough to be brought here for me but it is miles from the land and the swim would not be easy and I am not sure a wolf would be able to easily sit upon a flying dragon.

What direction?

Well met Fenrir, welcome to Travrra. A shame it is not as large and as populated as it should be.

[ Fenrir looks around, inhaling deeply. It may not be as large or as populated as it should be, but he can still smell dragons other than Veles on it from before, as well as the sea creatures he assumes Veles eats for dinner. ]
It's a nice looking island either way.

[Not that he ever would.]
