Veles 002 [day] [video]

May 09, 2011 11:31

[Veles has been in Promenade for a while now, long enough to know that barring Lioriley, he hated pretty much everyone here.  Loud, ungrateful, rude - just the tip of the iceberg, he could really go on for years about his distaste but dragons love knowledge and he'd like to know about other worlds and what they have.

Just don't ask how a dragon can ( Read more... )

[ She remembers you mister dragon and she is still grumpy over the last time you talked. ]

They're real, and we fight with them. There's a few in myths too.

[Get used to it.]

I remember your voice. The one who carries beasts with her.

What are your dragons like then? Different colours and abilities? Or are they different from your legends?

There's different species, mostly, but they have some attacks in common. The ones from the myths are one of a kind, and they're incredible.

Attacks? Not magic? Interesting. Would you happen to know any of those myths?

Off by heart, but the stories don't do really do justice.

Stories seldom do. Time changes things; the interpretations, the details, the true reasons as to motives and they embellish too. It is what happens when they are handed down by the short-lived races.

The stories are right, though. They just aren't detailed, and they don't mention what they're like.

Details are not always the most important part. It is the moral or the message or the caution in them that matters.

You've got a point there.

The dragons are called Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.

[Nope, not names he knows. Other worlds yes but dragons sometimes fly off and never return and being here simply proves that there is more than one world out there to be explored.]

Were those the names given to them by people or the names they chose or is this one of the things lost to time?

voice; lunardancing May 10 2011, 19:23:11 UTC
I think they're the names that they were given to begin with.

What more can you tell me?

[He's actually overlooking the 'carrying beasts to make them fight thing'. Your world has some merits after all.]

I can show you pictures, if you want.

[ Many of them! And heyyyy she doesn't make them, Veles. ]
