[Lady's portal has taken the form of a small compact mirror, much like the beautiful brass one she had owned in life. It had been given to her by her mentor, Sivarte, and its lid had borne an intricate carving which she had spent hours looking at, winding her fingertips through the maze.]

[She murmurs, opening it, turning it over in her hands, not realizing she has activated it. The feed shows a young girl, she could not possibly be more than sixteen, with blonde hair and brown eyes, her lips a vibrant, painted red, ready to perform. Those truly watching her lips will see that while the Portal translates what she says, she is speaking in French.]
I thought I had lost you somewhere... Perhaps it was not so unlucky to get lost today after all.
[She holds up the mirror to admire the mask on her face. The little circus girl does not find its presence strange at all.]
I shouldn't linger. [She tells herself this firmly, nodding her head as she leaves the bed she had awoken in. She does not remark on that anomaly.] I must find Antony, he will tell me the name of this new town and we will set up the tents...
