[ The feed clicks on after the PORTAL tumbles off one of the surfaces in the room. There's a loud growl in the background and a rumble, then the groan of a bed bearing the weight of something much heavier than normal. [So, Fabian still climbs to the rooftops once in a while, out of habit and occasionally because he doesn't want to be bothered by people. This one of those days --

What the hell is that. More importantly, what is that smell.]

[ Ladon is hanging out on the rooftops, currently watching the street opposite to where Fabian's coming from, so he'll spot the back of the dragon first. He sits with his wings folded, tail swishing now and then. Nothing terribly interesting is going on below, but a few locals have gathered to stare up and wave at the dragon.

The fact that they aren't afraid of him still perplexes Ladon. He tilts his head and snorts smoke. ]

[At least whatever that is, Fabian hasn't been noticed yet. He debates for a moment whether he should stick around or just leave, but his curiosity and dulled danger sense kind of win. So he cautiously tries to climb onto the roof, though not very stealthily because he fails at that.

Just. That smell. He hasn't smelt anything this terrible since -- wait a minute.]

[ He continues to watch the people below, then settles himself with a grunt, much like a very large, scaly dog. He curls his tail around him before resting his chin on the rooftop and sighing. ]

[There was only one other person he'd met here that smelt this terrible, but...nah, that can't be possible, right? Right? The sad thing was Fabian couldn't say that with any certainty because Promenade was full of all kinds of weirdness. He didn't even know Ladon's name anyway, so he couldn't exactly check.

Ladon can probably hear his footsteps as he settles down on the rooftop, just a little ways off from where Ladon is.]

[ He looked up, the sound of footsteps behind him tends to make him anxious regardless of what form he's in. It's not easy to look over your shoulder as a dragon, with all that mass back there, the back and the wings and the haunches blocking your view. So he gets back on his feet and turns, tail now dangling off the side of the building.

He spots the kid on the roof with him and cocks his head at him, waiting to see what he'll say or do now that he's been seen by the dragon. ]

[Right now? He's just staring back. Fabian doesn't plan to make a move without any reasons to yet.

...Okay so he's also holding his nose, but you can't blame him.]
