[So Madsen's standing outside the Academy, rolling a shoulder as she has her mask and sword sitting on the ground nearby. A quick one-two jab, roundhouse, and she settles into her fighting stance, only to grin at the camera.]
'Sup. Just so you guys know, if you're thinking about or have already joined Tony's teams, stick around, this post is for you

You'll have someone with some medical know-how attending these meetings, I'm assuming.

[Though that was something she was trying to do anyway - see if there was any healing-types that'd be on-hand to help out in case any scuffles got nasty. That and they kinda needed healers all-around anyway.]

It doesn't sound that way, with your choice of name.
[Wow, he sounds like a grumpy old man. He sighs, shakes his head slightly.]
But I guess you're wanting to drum up some excitement. 'You don't talk about Practical Training' doesn't really have quite the same ring to it.

If there was an easier way to get everyone up to speed on fighting, I honestly would take it, but we don't have much choice right now.

'Don't have much choice'? You make it sound more urgent than I was expecting. [They'd discussed healthy suspicion and the likelihood of repeat monster attacks before, but perhaps she'd been deliberately more casual in open communication.]

Where I grew up, gangs would have meetings like that under the idea of making sure everyone had some skills for dealing with rival gangs. They quickly turned into ways to resolve internal power struggles, and then simply entertainment.
I'm sure you won't let it degrade like that, though.

And I'll definitely make sure of that. Hang a plaque with a mission statement or something for starters. [A dry chuckle there.]
But being serious, last thing I want is this to turn into a bloodbath.

Don't worry, I understand where you're coming from, honestly. I'd rather not have this end up becoming more of a hassle than it should be.

It sounds like you've got an idea of what you're doing, at least.
[And he was probably just coming across as nagging, telling her things she already knew. He'd always hated that himself, didn't like the idea of doing it to anyone else.]
Just make sure you've got someone medical on board and a quick way to shut it all down if it does get messy.
[His last piece of advice before he shut himself up. He smiles.]
I'm sure you'll be fine.

Or something like that, anyway. Improvising's thankfully one of my strong suits.

[Quiet for a moment, wondering if he should just leave it, thinks he has a reasonably good idea what the answer will be already. But more information can't hurt.]
Mind if I ask what you mean by unwanted attention?

Anything too flashy - lots of explosions, summoning something that'll end up destroying buildings or something like that.
