Incoherent ramblings
I’m tired enough to feel like I’m forgetting things, which is stressing me out and making me feel anxious.
Lots of pressure at work at the moment, stuff to do at home and of course I have to get on top of Ame. Luckily we have a long weekend break hiding at our castle retreat in a 4 poster bed for an anniversary this weekend so that should be plenty relaxing :)
Expo happened, went rather well barring the retarded delays on the main stage. Lots and lots of fantastic costumes. Lighting worked much better than last year and the pictures look really rather good. Thank you Mr nert
Treated myself to a shiny new TV to play FFXIII on, still stuck playing Disgaea first though. Darn you Granny!!! TV seems to act as a flying bug magnet - It’s killed dozens in it’s first week.
Didn’t really get pictures of Vash at Expo so we did a quick photoshoot outside the flat - was supported by local Chavs who had to have pictures taken with me so that they could prove I wasn’t a figment of their imagination to their chav buddies.
I’d forgotten how much of an amazing feeling it is to put Vash on, the costume has presence.
Went to my first games Tourny of the year on Sunday, lots of fun, good to see my tournament friends again. Came 6th with a German 1942 Schwere Tiger kompanie, which I considered to be more fun (or maybe mean :P) than competitive. Won a big shiny trophy for Best Army however :)
