Weekendness x2
Dear Europe, as much as I appreciate female cosplayers please qualify a few more guys, we cosplay too!!!!!!
I spent last week without cheeky works net access so I never got to report on Rakimbercon, which was good, drinking was had, rocking was had and I even sang - which probably surprised me more than everyone else.
Then we watched lots of Macross Frontier, which I should have watched when it was new, but you know, I fail. Frontier was really good, it reminded me of why I love anime....and giant robots :D
Last weekend was spent in Stone, at Leena’s, partly for an Ame site visit (slowly persuading Keele to let us hold photoshoots inside Keele hall ^_-). We also went along to a local pub to support the band some of her friends are in. They play rock covers, but where pretty darn good. The pub was crammed to the rafters and served an especially good selection of Ale. Because I’m an incorrigible geek I settled on drinking the local Red Dwarf :)
