Just got back from ACL (which, as you may remember, was like 14 posts ago). Anyways, bands were really cool even if the entire weekend wasnt necessarily the best.
Saturday:
Pheonix
Galactic
The Shins
The Raconteurs
Iron and Wine
Willie Nelson
Sunday:
Matisyahu
The New Pornographers
Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals
MUSE
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Highlights: MUSE (and by a long shot). We were really close, the band rocked, and the crowd was awesome.
the Raconteurs
Ben Harper (ok, so technically we weren't "at" this show, but we heard the whole thing while we were camping out for MUSE, and it sounded really good)
Lowlights: The Shins (a lot of people really hyped them to me, and they just weren't as awesome as i had expected)
Texas Highway Patrol (got a ticket in waco on the way back, which is evidently gonna be $500-$600. Burn.)
Anyways, it was a long weekend, but still kinda fun. Oh and happy birthday trevis.
