Old school Hi-Tides came to revisit their alma mater on November 14 for the annual Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. The alums gathered in the black-box theater bright and early for a rekindling breakfast with their old classmates. Once the bagels and fruit were all gone, they walked down the hall of the brand new 300 building and arrived at the reception area of the auditorium. The alums looked up at the wall to see the newest Hall of Fame inductee plaques. Up until November 14, there was 68 Hall of Fame members, and now there are 75.

The seven new Hall of Famers are Richard Berger, Judge A. Jay Cristol, Arthur Gilbert, Commissioner Nicki Englander Grossman, Neal R. Sonnet, Arnold Staloff, and Mary Elizabeth Teller.

After motivational speeches from each of the inductees, the party moved to the Biscayne Bay Marriot Hotel. Guests from Beach High included Dr. Sidener and members of Student Government and Yearbook. When entering the party room, the first thing any guest would notice was that the tables were decorated with creative centerpieces made up of pom-poms, mini-bullhorns, flags, and other vintage Typhoon and Hi-Tide memorabilia.
